THE ABSENCE OF MY CAR IN PHOTOS
8 April 2016

“The Absence of my in photos” is a work-in-progress book about the gap between documentary and fictional photography and how our perception can be manipulated or simply canalized. It shows different places by night, merely illuminated by the light of a car that itself is never visible. Places are chosen to work as theatre-like stages and are often manipulated to emphasize the irritating composition of nature/urban sculpture and to motivate the viewer to project a narrative concept into the scenery.
